In January 2008, Jon Scieszka, author of successful books like "Stinky Cheese Man" and "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!," was appointed by the Library of Congress to be the first National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. The position was created to promote national awareness of children's literature, and to encourage kids to read more often. These are his "Ambassador Choices" books.
