Since Prince's death, Daniel Smith, the principal of the school where she attended has retired. Smith told The Boston Globe his decision is unrelated to her death. Smith came under fire for his handling of the alleged bullying that drove 15-year-old Phoebe Prince to commit suicide in 2010.
