Actor Charlton Heston acknowledges applause at a benefit honoring him at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City Nov. 19. The actor was honored with the unveiling of a statue, at left, donated by members of the National Rifle Association, that portrays Heston in his role as a cowboy in the 1968 film, "Will Penny."
