Ed McMahon: 1923-2009
Ed McMahon, seen here at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, died June 23, 2009, at a Los Angeles hospital. McMahon was the former sidekick to Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show" and a familiar TV commercial pitchman.
