A heat wave bringing 90-degree temperatures across the continent has given new meaning to the term tourist hot spots. Here, people enjoy Biarritz's beach, in southwestern France, where the temperature rose to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius) on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009.
