The Prince of Wales is seen as he prepares to speak during the National Police Memorial Day service at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool, England. The memorial day and the afternoon service were organized by the Police Roll of Honour Trust, founded five years ago to honor some 4,000 British police officers who have lost their lives on duty since the first recorded death of a constable in 1680.
