A house in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., lies in ruin on Thursday, April 23, 2009, after a coastal wildfire spread early Thursday toward one of the busiest tourist stretches in South Carolina. Officials said as many as 70 homes had been destroyed and at least 2,500 people have been evacuated.
