Then California Governor Ronald Reagan laughs at something said by Vice President Gerald Ford during a luncheon, April 21, 1974. Both men would go on to become presidents of the United States. On Nov. 12, 2006, Ford surpassed Reagan to become the longest-living U.S. president at age 93.
