Queen travels to Manchester for Diamond Jubilee

Queen Elizabeth II holds flowers as she is greeted by well-wishers outside Media City in Salford, on March 23, 2012, in Manchester, England. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Manchester, where she officially opened hospitals toured the new BBC building at MediaCity and officially started a Sport Relief Mile fun run. The trip is part of the monarch's Diamond Jubilee tour, marking 60 years on the throne.
