First lady Michelle Obama takes part in the groundbreaking of the White House kitchen garden on the South Lawn March 20,2009, with students from Washington's Bancroft Elementary School. The garden, which will supply fruits and vegetables for the White House kitchen, is intended to draw attention to the importance of nutrition and a healthy diet.
