Sean Penn
Sean Penn accepts the Oscar for best actor for his work in "Milk" during the 81st Academy Awards Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. Born Aug. 17, 1960, to Leo Penn, an actor and director, and Eileen Ryan (née Annucci), an actress. Penn launched his career with the 1981 film Taps, followed a year later with the hit comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High (in the role of stoner Jeff Spicoli).
