Crowe is taken in handcuffs from a lower Manhattan police precinct, June 6, 2005, in New York. Crowe was arrested in the early morning for allegedly throwing a telephone at an employee of the Manhattan hotel where he was staying while in town promoting his film "Cinderella Man." The Australian movie star was taken into custody, fingerprinted and charged with second-degree assault, said police Lieutenant Eugene Whyte.
