Sam Champion and Ruben Robierb

ABC News' "Good Morning America" weather anchor Sam Champion and artist Rubem Robierb have wed. ABC says the couple married in an intimate ceremony at Champion's New York apartment on Dec. 21, 2012. They were surrounded by friends, family and Champion's fellow "Good Morning America" anchors. Robierb's mother and sisters joined the festivities via Skype from Brazil. Champion and Robierb met through mutual friends a few years ago in Miami, where Robierb resides. The two announced their engagement in October. They plan to host a party in Miami on New Year's Eve to further celebrate their nuptials.
