Bea Arthur: 1922-2009
Bea Arthur poses for a photo in 1988. Family spokesman Dan Watt says the 86-year-old actress, who was born Bernice Frankel in New York City in 1922, died at home early Saturday, April 25, 2009. He says Arthur had cancer, but declined to give further details.
