Daniel Day-Lewis
Actor Daniel Day Lewis attends the premiere screening of The Ballad of Jack & Rose in New York, Wednesday, March 23, 2005. The film was directed by Day-Lewis' wife, Rebecca Miller. During filming he arranged to live separately from his wife in order to achieve the "isolation" needed to focus on his own character's reality. The film received mixed reviews but Day-Lewis received almost universal praise for his performance.
