"Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane has checked into a rehab facility to treat an addiction to painkillers, his rep confirmed on July 20, 2011. "Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus," his rep said in a statement. "He reports back to work next week. Business as usual," the rep said in a statement.
