Singer Akon throws himself into the audience for a change, riding on the shoulders of one of his crew as he interacts with members of the audience at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Akon was one of the more than 100 performers who appeared in 9 concerts around the world as part of the 24-hour Live Earth event on July 7, 2007 to raise awareness about climate change.
