Radio Days

Created by Irna Phillips, "The Guiding Light," as it was originally titled, has been entertaining fans since it began as a radio series on Jan. 25, 1937. After 72 years on the air and more than 15,000 episodes, the show is coming to an end. The final episode will air Sept. 18, 2009.
