Conrad Bain: 1923-2013

Mary Jo Catlett, Dana Plato, Conrad Bain, Gary Coleman, Todd Bridges and Nancy Reagan on-set with members of the cast of "Diff'rent Strokes." Bain, who starred as the kindly white adoptive father of two young African-American brothers on the TV sitcom, died of natural causes on Jan. 14, 2013, at his home in Livermore, Calif. He was 89.
