White House Christmases through the years

The official White House Christmas tree is displayed in the Blue Room of the White House during a press tour of the holiday decorations in Washington on Dec. 2, 2009. The Douglas Fir, lit with environmentally friendly LED lights and decorated with more than 800 ornaments from previous White House administrations, stood 18.5 feet high and nearly 13 feet wide.
