Paula Deen appears on the "Today" show on Jan. 17, 2011, to announce she has Type 2 diabetes. The Food Network personality, known for her high-fat, high-calorie cooking, said she was diagnosed three years ago, and has now signed an endorsement deal to promote a diabetes drug.
