Detroit series reveals past life of city's ruins

An anonymous photographer found dozens of pictures while sifting through the ruins of Cass Technical High School in Detroit.

After digitizing the images, the photographer went back to the school to capture pictures of the spaces where the images took place on his own camera. He superimposed the two images to show the citys past and present at the same time. The school was demolished in 2011 after a new campus was built across the street.

The images are collected on the Detroiturbex.com, an anonymous Detroit photography site. Click here for more information.
