How did Sanja Petrovic, David's mother, first learn of her son's "magnetism?"

"I asked him to fetch me a spoon so I could feed his little brother, and he yelled back: 'Mom, it sticks!'" Petrovic said. "I found him with several spoons and forks hanging from his body." She then called her sister and found that Luka had the same attraction.
