Food addicts struggle with food in much the same way that all addicts struggle - and brain scans seem to confirm that food addiction exists on a neurological level as well as on a behavioral level. This is important, because when it comes to losing weight, food addicts need intensive help - ordinary weight-loss programs simply won't do.
