"At this point I have recovered from anorexia and am feeling confident in myself and the work I am doing," says Crystal.
The recovery came after a 2003 "epiphany," when she decided to make dramatic changes and regain control of her life. For the first time in years, she decided, she would allow herself to eat.
In 2003, Crystal signed with a top modeling agency and found success as a "plus-sized" model.
Today she is fighting to help the fashion industry see woman of many sizes as beautiful.
