Experts debate the value of a vegetarian diet. Vegetarians and vegans - those who don't eat animals or animal products like dairy, eggs, and sometimes bee honey - often intake less saturated fats than their meat eating counterparts. But, vegetarian friendly carbs like pasta, bread and rice can equal big calories and vegetarians may work harder to find proteins and vitamins found in meat.
