Iranian Quake: The Aftermath
This is a satelite image of the city of Bam, located about 620 miles southeast of Tehran, Iran, as seen on Dec. 27, 2003, the day after a 6.6-magnitude quake shook the city. Seen in the center, is the destoyed citadel, a medieval fortress that attracted thousands of tourists a year.
