Palestinian school girls run to find cover during clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians protesting in support of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in the southern West Bank town of Halhul, Sept. 13, 2003. Some 100 youths broke away from the protest, throwing stones at Israeli soldiers manning a nearby checkpoint. The soldiers responded by firing rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas. There were no reports of injuries.
