Southern France shootings

A vehicle, that could carry the corpse of self-professed Al-Qaeda militant Mohamed Merah, leaves the Cite Belle Paule area after the assault on Merah's besieged flat, on March 22, 2012 in Toulouse, southwestern France. Mohamed Merah "jumped from the window still shooting," Interior Minister Claude Gueant told journalists, adding that Merah had attacked police "with extreme violence" after bursting out of the bathroom.
