Carnival/Mardi Gras 2012

A father and his two sons dressed in traditional folk costumes attend a traditional Czech Masopust carnival, on February 4, 2012, near the east Bohemian city of Pardubice. Every year in mid-winter, villages throughout the Czech Republic celebrate Masopust. The festival marks the beginning of Lent, and is the equivalent of Mardi Gras in Latin America or Carnival in Catholic parts of Europe.
