Beer brewed by monks

A six-pack of Westvleteren 12 is displayed at Ales Unlimited on Dec. 12, 2012, in San Francisco, Calif. Beer connoisseurs across the United States lined up to buy a limited distribution of Westvleteren 12, a beer brewed by Belgian monks at St. Sixtus Abbey. The beer is being exported for the first time to raise funds to replace the roof at St. Sixtus Abbey. The limited number of six-packs are retailing for $84.99 at select stores.
