Canadian utility trucks wait at the U.S. border on Oct. 29, 2012 in Highgate, Vt. Green Mountain Power secured more than 250 outside line workers and tree trimmers to assist in restoring power to customers.

Winds knocked down trees and power lines, and localized flooding took place.
