Superstorm floods New York City

Workers close down the Holland Tunnel ahead of Hurricane Sandy on Oct. 29, 2012, in New York City. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the closing of the tunnel , as well as the Battery Tunnel at 2:00 pm because of flooding worries as Hurricane Sandy moves up the east coast.
