Civil War relics

A Oct. 2, 2012, photo, shows some of the collection of Robert Sackhei, who owns one of the largest private collections of Civil War weaponry in the country. The Blue And Gray Museum on Bank Street in Decatur, Ala., features an array of his weapons and munitions. Sackheim said this pistol is his favorite piece. It belonged to Union Army Brigadier General Joseph Mansfield, commander of the XII Corps of the Army of the Potomac. He was killed during battle at Antietam in Maryland in 1862.
