Southeast battered by storms

Debris covers a vehicle parked outside a business Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, that was leveled by a possible tornado Wednesday along Highway 109 South in Silver Valley community of east-central Davidson County, N.C. Suspected tornadoes were reported Wednesday in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and South Carolina.
