This classic "double shot gun" style house is nearing completion thanks to the work of LowerNine.org's volunteers. The area faces a unique set of challenges since it is a historic district of the city. For residents to get clearance to move back in, they need their homes to meet specific historic building codes, which can often hike up the price of construction.
