Haunting reminders of 9/11
During the course of shooting our story, the Port Authority gave "60 Minutes" access to Hangar 17 at New York's JFK Airport. Much of the steel, vehicles, Path train cars and other artifacts from Sept. 11, 2001 are preserved in this climate controlled hangar for safe keeping before eventually moving to the Museum at the World Trade Center site.
