"Hawaii Five-0" actor Alex O'Loughlin took time in early2012 away from the CBS drama to seek treatment for problems related to prescription pain medication. "Alex is taking a short break to receive supervised treatment for prescription pain medication due to a recent shoulder injury," his rep told Entertainment Weekly on March 2, 2012. CBS said in a statement that "everyone at CBS Television Studios and 'Hawaii Five-0' wishes him well and we look forward to his return."
