Tom Cruise on "Valkyrie" Set

Tom Cruise is in costume for his role as Claus von Stauffenberg, one of the Nazi leaders who plotted against Adolf Hitler. His choice caused some controversy in Germany because Cruise is an adherent of Scientology, which the German government considers fraudulent. Critics have said one of its members should not be playing one of the Nazi era's few heroes.
