Arian Foster denies heart surgery, mad he's not in Super Bowl
(CBS News) Houston Texans running back Arian Foster admits that he is "mad" his team did not make the 2013 Super Bowl.
"We were very close as a team this year...those are kind of the growing pains that you go through, and hopefully we can right this ship," he said of the team's progression Saturday on "CBS This Morning."
Foster also shot down reports that he will undergo heart surgery for an irregular heartbeat during the offseason, saying, "I'm fine. I've never felt better. It was a false report."
Looking to Sunday's Super Bowl matchup, Foster said he's excited to watch Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis on the field. "I want to see Ray Lewis...proclaim his legacy," he said.
He also predicted that the game will not be a passing game, explaining, "Ray Rice, Frank Gore, (Colin) Kaepernick. They like to run the ball."
