Exxon Defeats Rockefellers, But Looks Weak
Over at The Corner Office, Peter Galuszka has been watching the epic knock-down, drag-out fight in Dallas between Exxon and the Rockefeller heirs, who wanted the oil giant to enact reforms that would cut its greenhouse-gas emissions. The Rockefellers ended up losing, but by such a margin that suggested a substantial minority of Exxon shareholders are sympathetic to their concerns.
