Tribeca Film Festival kicks off with "The Five-Year Engagement"
(CBS News) The Tribeca Film Festival kicked off Wednesday night with the world premiere of "The Five-Year Engagement" starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt.
Festival goers moved from New York City's Ziegfeld Theatre to the Museum of Modern Art, where the wedding-themed after party took place.
The film's director and co-writer Nicholas Stoller teamed up with Segel again after directing him in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." The film also stars Alison Brie, Dakota Johnson and Kevin Hart, and is produced by Judd Apatow.
Festival founder Robert De Niro was in attendance along with Michelle Williams (whom Segel is reportedly dating), Elizabeth Banks, Leelee Sobieski, Bill Hader and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Segel told The Hollywood Reporter his favorite moment so far of the festival was meeting De Niro. "It was the coolest thing of all time," said Segel.
The Tribeca Film Festival runs through April 29.
