Aretha Franklin to receive music icon honor at TV Land Awards

The TV Land Awards pays tribute to classic and contemporary TV, music and movies stars. The 90-minute telecast will feature musical performances and will reunite celebrity TV casts.
Franklin recently made headlines for missing the funeral for her goddaughter, Whitney Houston.
In January, Franklin called off her wedding to longtime friend, William "Willie" Wickerson.
