Anti-Obama Billboard Taken Down in Colo.

A billboard in western Colorado that used caricatures to depict President Barack Obama as a terrorist, gangster, Mexican bandit and a gay man has been taken down.

The sign along an Interstate 70 business loop in Grand Junction drew criticism from local Republicans and Democrats.

The artist, Paul Snover, of nearby Loma, says he has received what he calls "very hateful" emails and phone calls.

Snover has said he couldn't reveal who paid for the billboard.

The Daily Sentinel said he couldn't be reached Friday to explain why it was removed.

The owner of a company where the sign was erected says she's glad it's gone because it attracted such a crowd.

Sorry I am not buying it, but I will say that the board reflected opinions of our so called president that have arguably accurate points. He does not act like an American President, he behaves and supports activities that coincide with the actions of Hitler. He uses the same strong arm tactics Hitler used to attain absolute power in Austria and then Germany. He has tried to infiltrate the schools and weaken the families, by having teachers teaching songs of praise to him that are not based on any accomplishment, kind of like giving a Nobel Peace Prize before there are any results to judge by. In the case of the economy we see the failure like a light bulb shinning in the night. He plays people against one another, uses bribe and promises to get compliance and when that don't work, lies and force. Threatening people with you have to buy insurance or go to jail is just one of his Hitler type ploys. Appointing Czars is another, by-passing the congress for approval of department heads. I have to say his choices are just amazing, communists, tax cheaters, and kooks who think animals should have the right to sue people. Oh yes, Hitler by the way was also a narcissistic ego maniac that know one dared contradict. World wide recognized experts have tagged his narcissism on the same level as Hitler and Stalin. So based on that, the bill board is not so out of line. Is it that hard Truth Teller to say I made a mistake, Obama is not who he led us to believe, your not the only one you know, millions voted for him. Most of them now have buyers remorse.

But then he said, "We researched to find out if anybody on Fox News had ever said you're going to jail if you don't buy health insurance. Nobody's ever said it." Most of the buyer's remorse is due to Republican lies. Most of the surge in popularity for the Republicans and TPer is due to lies. "Death Panels", "complete government takeover", "rationing", all lies.

His refusal to protect our borders needs to be repealed. CA. is broke, why? Could it be the 52 million Los Angeles county pays in illegal welfare payments each month, or maybe it is the new grade school they have to build each day to handle the illegal influx of students. Maybe you don't think thats bad, but are you still employed, wait and see how that works out. As to the liars, supposedly in the TP AND GOP, it is who is telling the story, if your dumb enough to read the newspapers and listen to the major media TV NEWS SHOWS, you don't know a lie from the truth anyway. Because I have to protect my family, I hide behind a user name, if you knew who I was you would know that I know of whence I speak. Don't drink the Kool aid it makes you sick.

Deficit spending, which has been more of a Republican thing than a Democratic thing, means that money is borrowed from somewhere. If you have an objection to borrowing from SS, and would prefer to borrow from China or Saudi Arabia, please state your case. TruthTeller

A year or so back a man in Oklahoma City had a anti-Obama sign on his pickup door. The sign wasn't covering the window and wasn't covering his rear view mirror or anything like that. It wasn't blocking traffic view either as some billboards do. It was also securely fastened to the truck. It wasn't flapping around and causing a traffic hazard. It was simply a sign that was stuck to the door on the driver's side. Still, though, the police stopped him and forced him to remove the sign simply because it was an anti-Obama sign. I say that man's freedom of speech was trampled on! The last I heard there was a court case pending about it. I don't know the outcome.

Obama's health care reform was what he was elected, by the people, to do. It evolved into a version that he could get passed, e.g., the public option was removed. The people were in favor of it, until the Republican lie machine scared them with lies about death panels, rationing, and "complete government takeover". No, it is false, Sarah Palin is a liar, and everyone who repeats the lie is a liar--unless they are to be forgiven due to being misinformed by Sarah Palin and other Republican leaders who know better. What makes this lie worse is that before Obama's health care reform, some of the insurance companies made it a practice to cut people off when they got sick, which is the closest thing to a death panel in the real world. Obama's health care reform prohibits that. Republicans want to repeal this reform. So it's Republicans who are effectively in favor of something approximating "death panels". TruthTeller

BINGO.! I have yet to speak with one person who does not share the same feelings about Obama. Those who are elderly are particularly afraid of what is going to happen to them, especially with the required end of life counseling. Someone told me the following: A young boy was on his way home when he met his father walking the opposite way. His father was carrying a huge sack. What is in the sack Father. His father replied: it's your grandfather. He is old and useless and I am going to take him to the river and drown him. The boy then replied, bring the sack back father; for someday I will need it for you. With all the tax increases and reduced or eliminated deductions proposed by Obama; we are in big trouble. To date, every proposal he has made is dragging us closer to destruction.

Dude!!! It is the tea party candidates and Republicans who are the ones who want to eliminate all of the safety nets designed to help people. They want to eliminate Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid food stamps, unemployment and all the other things that the elderly benefit from. The tea party, Republicans and those on the right don't believe white people benefit from any of these programs. The way they have been telling us, only shiftless, lazy minorities and illegals take advantage of these programs. White people on the other hand work up until the day they die and then some. They pay for whatever they need. Oh, and don't worry about the end of life counseling. I'm sure your children will deal with that after they have to begin to pay for your upkeep. I hope you understand my sarcasm. It isn't President Obama the elderly have to worry about. Try listening to what the tea party people have been saying about how they intend to control government spending. The President has tried to look out for you. Republicans plan to repeal all the things he has put into place to help.

Oh, and by the way, your taxes are less than they have ever been. Try listening to someone other than the people trying to get you to vote against your own best interest. They are usine fear, scare and smear and banking on you being to lazy to look into things for yourself.

It is so upsetting to see signs like this one, anywhere about anyone. First of all, they are untrue, they are malicious, they foment hate, and above all, they are plainly off the charts on the political scale. It is good that they took it down as I'm sure it was creating a safety hazard on the road by creating road rage.
